_farm is being attentive to what we see. It is transcribing and transforming what is here. We act as a lens or filter. We are the inbetween. Between you and what they hear on the other side of your voice. We find possibility and create opportunity. We facilitate, nuture, draw-out and re_direct. We see design as a means of expanding and contracting, of breathing sustainability into a way of life. We believe that design engages in the germination of an idea into a communication. Design is permiable, limitless, and empowering. Design is a methodology to amplify your vision and create understanding. farm is a connector or conduit.
_farm is Susie Nielsen and Christine Gallagher. We are mainly graphic designers, artists, installation artists, curators, and educators. We often collaborate on projects with other esteemed designers, artists, writers, photographers, friends, lovers, colleagues, etc.
